This program will highlight the results from a national business ethics survey, giving participants a better understanding of the current state of business ethics and the implications of those trends within the design sector. After a discussion of the ethical canons that apply to A/Es, the workshop has an interactive component involving the review of actual cases that have been brought before the AIA's National Ethics Council (NEC) and/or the NSPE Board of Ethical Review (BER). Participants will review cases and, based on the facts presented, render decisions--and see whether their perspective matches that of the ethics review board.
