ABOUT ABOUT

How did our female leaders get to where they are today and what decisions or challenges motivated their successes? Join Women in Design on May 22 at 5:30pm for the third segment of the 2018 Women's Leadership Series featuring Angie Gaebler and Trudy Faulkner.

Angie Gaebler
Angie Gaebler has been involved with a variety of new design, adaptive re-use, and restoration projects throughout the Mid-West and East Coast regions. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University and master’s degree in historic preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. Specializing in historic preservation, Angie has gained extensive knowledge in building analysis and treatment and thrives on in-the-field collaboration with contractors and craftsmen.  Whether the project calls for snake chaps or a hard hat, Angie is happiest on-site, piecing together the history of a building.

Trudy Faulkner
Trudy Faulkner has a background rooted in regional architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Kansas.  She has contributed to many legacy building rehabilitation and expansion projects throughout Kansas City and beyond, including the Blossom House properties, the Vitagraph Building, the Mainstreet and Midland Theaters, the Municipal Auditorium Music Hall, the Kansas City Police Headquarters, Liberty Memorial, and the Missouri State Capitol. Trudy is known for her encyclopedic knowledge of building repair techniques, fearlessness even on the tallest roofs, and a penchant for crazy Christmas sweaters.
