Our final session of the series will cover construction administration and project
closeout. Paul Hanson with the ASPE Heartland Chapter will discuss the bid process
from beginning to end. Next, James Atkins, FAIA will spend the rest of the day will
us to discuss CA and project closeout. In the morning he will go over multiple topics
related to CA including proactive CCA, communications and labor management.
In the afternoon, he will be joined by Michael Gekas, AIA and Chris Hoffman with
McCownGordon to discuss how contractors use drawings and computer models.
Jim will then wrap up the day with topics related to project completion and post
construction.
This is the last session in the six series program, the Business of Projects. Only AIA Kansas City members and Cornerstone Partners may register.
