Clark & Enersen is a leading, full-service design firm collaborating with clients across the nation from its offices in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Oregon, and South Carolina. Founded in 1946, Clark & Enersen offers a comprehensive in-house team with design professionals in the primary disciplines of architecture, engineering, interior design, landscape architecture, and planning, as well as experts in commissioning, community and stakeholder engagement, construction administration, digital experience design, grant assistance, laboratory planning, and land development.
In 2018, Clark & Enersen had outgrown its existing office in Kansas City. In order to accommodate the influx of new personnel and work, the firm moved into a new office in the Crossroads District, a quickly developing area in downtown Kansas City surrounded by small art galleries, bars, restaurants, and boutique hotels.
The firm worked with Whiting-Turner to renovate space on the 3rd floor of the Historic Marietta Chair Building, which was built in the early 1900’s. The office features a large 18-person conference room, five smaller conference rooms, a mix of private offices and open office space, collaborative work areas, a coffee bar/kitchen area, break area with a ping pong table, a mother’s room, and restrooms. The Clark & Enersen team also designed all finishes, and selected all furniture, carpet, and lighting systems.
