ABOUT ABOUT

Join Michael Collins, VP of JE Dunn Development, for this session on P3.

Public, Private, Partnerships (P3) is a hot topic and changing how more end users procure work in the marketplace. This session breaks down the process, insight to contract terms, and the advantages and disadvantages to each entity of this approach.
Because of the growing number and varying uses of P3 delivery is altering the public sector landscape of how public projects are being delivered, this course will inform you about the basic structure of P3’s.
While macroeconomics, policy, project delivery and finance all play a critical role, it is the general basic understanding of what is a Public-Private Partnership that plays the most critical role when determining whether this delivery method is best suited for the project and your organization.
P3’s are very complex…why?
*Merging idea of private-sector finance to procure, deliver and maintain public-sector infrastructure.
*Teaming structure
*Public Policy
*P3s cover all public infrastructure types:
*Transportation (roads, bridges, tunnels, ports, airports)
*Social Infrastructure (schools, justice facilities, hospitals, government offices)
*Public Utilities (water & waste water treatment)

This program is  worth 1 LU and lunch will be provided.
