This program is being offered on Zoom only.
Join Jeffrey Krebs who is with the KCMO Police Department and a CPTED Consultant for this program to learn about more about how architects can use CPTED. Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) uses design, management, and activity strategies to reduce opportunities for crime, decrease fear, and improve the overall safety of businesses, neighborhoods, and communities. The CPTED concept emphasizes the relationship between the physical environment, the productive use of space, and human behavior. Upon completing this course, attendees should have a basic understanding of CPTED and how it is being implemented in cities internationally.
This program is worth 1 HSW. Please remember you must attend the full session on Zoom in order to get AIA credit. If you leave the Zoom meeting early, no credit will be reported.
