ABOUT ABOUT

This program is being offered as a hybrid program.  You may attend either in person or on Zoom.

Join Henderson Enginners for this program on laboratories. Teaching laboratories contain and produce various hazards that present particular planning and design challenges when creating a safe and healthy learning environment. Understanding the nature of the hazards and strategies for minimizing the risk of occupant exposure is paramount. This presentation will discuss risk assessment in teaching laboratory projects and examine design considerations to mitigate those risks and maintain a healthy and safe setting for education. Topics will include laboratory placement, lab support spaces, fume hoods, emergency plumbing fixtures, and emergency gas shutoff.

This program is worth 1 HSW.  Lunch will be provided for those who attend in person.  For those who attend on Zoom, you must attend the full session in order to get AIA credit.  If you leave the Zoom meeting early, no credit will be reported.
