This presentation will present and discuss various types of concrete defects. The types of defects discussed will be the most commonly found in the Kansas City area. We will discuss how to identify the different defects, how and why they occur and how to determine whether they are superficial or pose a real structural threat to the product. Once the defect is identified the next question becomes “What to do.” We will cover how to address each type of defect and the most effective approach to testing and repair.
