Centric has put in a lot of work up front to understand the benefits and the most impactful uses of light gauge structural metal stud construction in order to become one of the first contractors in Kansas City to erect a mid-rise building using this technology. As we are wrapping up our first building in KC using light gauge structural metal stud construction, we have shared some of the benefits with our clients and have added more of these buildings to the pipeline. With our first hand experience of how the system compares to other more traditional methods, we are looking forward to sharing that experience, and the impacts of this technology, with the community. This presentation is intended to share our research, knowledge, and experience with the light gauge structural metal stud system - a technology that is used throughout the nation, but is new to the KC market.
