Those attending our presentation will gain insight on the economic value of utilizing a vegetated roof by comparing different amenity scenarios. For instance, we will discuss when it makes economic sense to use a green roof as a storm water bmp versus using rain gardens or detention ponds.
Attendees will also review current research regarding the economics of biophilia (our human need to be connected to nature). We will discuss how green roofs make economic sense for faster healing, increased work productivity, and increased property values.
