Architectural Acoustics presentation will provide you with basic yet essential information to enhance the acoustical performance of the facilities you design.
Topics will include:
Basic acoustics fundamentals, such as the decibel (dB), frequency (Hz), and octave bands
The benefits of good acoustics, as well as the negative impact poor acoustics has on occupants of a facility.
Witness examples of three important acoustical parameters – reverberation, sound isolation, and ambient (background) noise.
The different design techniques for attaining acoustical metrics such as reverberation time, sound transmission class (STC), and Noise Criteria (NC).
