ABOUT ABOUT

This will be a VIRTUAL program held on Zoom.  Log in information will be emailed to attendees two days before the program.

Join Henderson Engineers for this program on energy modeling.  This presentation will review current energy modeling practices in the industry using the ASHRAE 209 standard as an outline. Typical energy modeling efforts including those required by LEEDv4 or code compliancy will be related to the ASHRAE 209 standard. Different levels of effort and the amount of detail required for each cycle of energy modeling will also be examined.

Topics will include:
The requirements of energy modeling in LEEDv4 and how they relate to ASHRAE 209 cycles.
The specific activities done within the integrative, iterative process of energy model assisted design and understand how each cycle informs decision making at particular design, construction, and operations phases.
Different types of energy modeling software tools and when or why they are often used at specific points in a project.

This program is worth 1 LU .  You must attend the full session in order to get AIA credit.  If you leave the Zoom meeting early, no credit will be reported.
